Imam W.D. Mohammed: That is may peace be upon you or may peace be unto you. His Honor the mayor told us that he had some very special people here in LaGrange. And our imam here in LaGrange, imam (unclear) Muhammad obviously, one of those very special people. We appreciate his strong leadership here and his sincere, very sincere faith in G-d and his love for the work. His charity to people. We appreciate him very much for that. Yes, we are here to, first of all, acknowledge G-d, that G-d is our benefactor, that we cannot have any benefits in our life unless G-d permits that and everything that we benefit from, G-d is responsible for it. Firstly, because G-d created everything and all possibilities for human beings. We witnessed that Muhammad of the Quran, fourteen centuries and a few years ago, is the one who gave us the message from G-d of this religion Islam or Al Islam and he is the one as G-d's servant and messenger who made us aware of the religion of Al Islam, the book, the Quran and the way of life for the Muslims and also the name Muslim. We didn't know of this name before Muhammad came with the message from G-d.
For all people, firstly, who delivered in the Peninsula of Arabia, what is called Saudi Arabia now or the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in that territory and in that vicinity. Then later within few years, it spread on to the surrounding areas and to what is called Iran now, now Egypt and North Africa and Europe. Even parts of Europe and finally, now it has grown to be a religion with a membership of about one billion and so people. One billion and so. One out of every five persons on Earth would be a Muslim if you could count them like that, with populations throughout the world now. In the islands of the Pacific and South America, North America, Far East, Russia, China, everywhere, you'll find Muslims. In North Africa, West Africa, East Africa, South Africa, all over, we find Muslims now. This is a very big community, world community, international community, of believers in G-d, the Muslims and our religion is the value of it. It should be seeing firstly in the value of the revelation to Muhammad, The Prophet. Prayers and peace be on him and that value is seen when we read and examine the book to him for all people. That is the Quran, our Quran or you may say our Muslim book or Bible, the Quran, and how that religion was lived or how the scripture was lived in the world by Muhammad himself. The Prophet, The Last Prophet, The Seal of the Prophets and G-d's Messenger.
We're very happy to be here, this Callaway auditorium here in LaGrange College and in this beautiful city of LaGrange. I have been looking at the beautiful flowers, the beautiful nature, enjoying the beautiful weather. It is a place that is very attractive to us and we wouldn't like to rush back to Chicago, but obligations back there force us to rush back. We have to rush back, we have to return this evening, in fact, but we are enjoying our stay here very much. With our topic, today here in LaGrange is on the connectedness for religion, and business, and education, and politics or government. First, I want to address the special creation of the human being. The human being is an extraordinary creation. The human being is a very special creation. Nothing like Allah created is, as I would say, unique as a human being and as richly endowed as the human being. The human being, G-d deposited in the human being more value and more ability than He deposited in anything else that he created in the human being. We are the most endowed of all the living things. We are the most richly endowed of all the living things that G-d created and every one of us- or as that expression for that the remarkable program I saw on TV once. Born Free, developed into a movie. Born Free, story and a movie about lions and their children, their family, their children, lion cubs, Born Free. G-d created us and we are born free. We are born free. He created us and we are born free. We have five senses that G-d created and He created those senses to be free. Our senses reach out to unlimited boundaries. Unlimited boundaries. The sense of sight with the eyes. The sense of hearing with the ears. The sense of smell with the nose. The sense of taste with the taste buds or the mouth and the sense of feel with the skin.
